Xerafy Nano-iN RFID Tag (866-868 MHz) [Clearance]
The Nano-iN offers an outstanding performance-to-size ratio of up to eight feet while flush mounted in a metal object. The Nano-iN can be a potential substitute to RFID-on-metal tags even in applications where read distance cannot be compromised such as IT assets and metallic equipment. The flush mounting of RFID tags makes them visible to RFID-based inventory systems immediately upon installation, and the RFID tags are protected from the possibility of damage. RFID tags are normally applied externally post-manufacture, where they are susceptible to damage from normal wear and tear and can be targets for deliberate tampering. Embed-in-metal technology is the most reliable solution to prevent tampering as there is no way to remove the RFID tag without destroying the product. Xerafy’s iN Series tags enable embedding RFID during the production process, reducing application costs and allowing manufacturers and end-users the opportunity to differentiate and deliver greater value.
