The ThingMagic M7e-MEGA is one of the smallest 2-port, high performance embedded UHF RAIN RFID modules. Featuring the Impinj E510 RAIN RFID reader chip, the module has very low power consumption and is ideal for battery-operated, low cost, small form-factor portable readers. ThingMagic MEGA’s wide RF output range (0 dBm to +30 dBm) is important for the read/write requirements for RFID-enabled printers and tag commissioning stations. It features a surface mount package designed for the efficiency of SMT manufacturing, driving down the total cost for embedding RFID in volume applications, including handheld devices, consumables authentication, device configuration and access control.
NOTE: This product is a reader module – NOT a finished RFID reader – and is meant for OEM and developers to embed into products or to be used in the creation of a new finished reader. If you are interested in an existing finished reader product, check out our line of finished ThingMagic readers.
