The ThingMagic M7e-HECTO is a small, power-optimized UHF RAIN RFID module. Featuring the Impinj E310 RAIN RFID reader chip, the module has very low power consumption and is ideal for battery-operated, low cost, small form-factor portable readers. ThingMagic HECTO’s wide RF output range (0 dBm to +27 dBm) is important for the read/write requirements for RFID-enabled printers and tag commissioning stations. It features a surface mount package designed for the efficiency of SMT manufacturing, driving down the total cost for embedding RFID in volume applications, including handheld devices, consumables authentication, device configuration and access control. The M7e-HECTO reader module saves space, battery power, and money; it is small enough to fit just about anywhere.

The ThingMagic M7e-HETCO embedded RFID module has a wide RF output range of 27 dBm, an Impinj E310 RAIN RFID reader chip, a high read rate of 300 tags per second, and a tag read range of 4.5 meters. It does all of this without sacrificing any flexibility or power as it is extremely portable and is designed to be used in high volume applications. Slightly greater in size, its dimensions are 22 L x 26 W x 3 H mm. It is drop-in compatible with the M6e-Nano with the same footprint and pinout.
