Introducing FEIG RFID - UHF, HF, LF, and Barcode Products

FEIG Electronic has been around for 50 years, specializing in RFID technology, as well as control electronics for payment terminals. FEIG has multiple product lines across the three main RFID frequencies – LF, HF, and UHF RFID, all which are produced in Germany and used worldwide.

FEIG’s Ultra-High Frequency (UHF) RFID Product Lines

LRU Series – Long Range UHF RFID Readers

LRU Series – Long Range UHF RFID Readers

FEIG’s LRU UHF RFID Readers are long range RFID readers, and feature 33 dBm transmit power and an integrated UHF RFID Antenna. The two most popular readers are the LRU500i-PoE and the LRU1002 because they can be powered via PoE+ and can read between 10 – 12 meters (32 – 39 ft).

MRU Series – Mid-Range UHF RFID Readers

FEIG’s MRU-102 UHF RFID Readers are mid-range, desktop readers that are available in 3 variations depending on the chosen interface – PoE/Ethernet, USB, or RS232. These desktop RFID readers have an integrated circularly polarized antenna for short range RFID tag reading and writing (50 cm/20 in), and 3 external antenna ports for reading RFID tags up to 4 meters (13 ft) away. These mid-range RFID readers are recommended for indoor use only for reading and writing RFID tags.

HyWEAR – UHF/Barcode Wearable Readers

FEIG’s HyWEAR Series is a line of Barcode Scanners and/or UHF RFID Readers that offer a convenient and efficient solution for hands-free scanning/reading. With a variety of different technologies and a few ways to wear, these wearable scanners/readers are equipped with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi for data interfacing. With a long lasting, replaceable battery, the HyWEAR Scanner/Reader series minimizes downtime for hands free scanning and reading in warehouses, manufacturing facilities, waste disposal applications, and more.

ID ECCO Smart – Wearable Barcode Scanners and/or HF RFID Readers

Similar to the HyWEAR series, FEIG’s ID ECCO Smart wearables are efficient, hands-free devices that can be used to read HF/NFC RFID tags and scan barcodes (if 2D model is selected). The HF reader component operates on the 13.56 MHz frequency band and is compatible with ISO 15693. These wearable scanners/readers can withstand multiple drops at 1.5 meters (5 ft), and have a long-lasting battery, able to power the device for up to 16 hours.

CPR70/74 – HF RFID Reader Modules

The CPR70 and CPR74 are HF RFID Reader Modules, designed to easily integrate into existing products to enable HF/NFC RFID reading. These HF reader modules have a transmit power of 26.5 dBm, have 3 digital outputs, and one external antenna port that connects to antenna via a U.FL connector. The CPR74 has an integrated antenna multiplexer that can be used to switch between the internal and external RFID antenna.
