The Avery Dennison Smartrac Slim Dual Frequency RFID Wet Inlay is designed for item-level tagging, brand protection, supply chain management, and industrial applications. The Avery Dennison Smartrac Slim combines excellent performance in both the HF and UHF RFID frequency ranges. The dual frequency capabilities of this inlay help fight black and grey markets by enabling consumers to verify product authenticity with NFC equipped smartphones and retailers to verify product returns with UHF RFID readers. The NFC capabilities of the Slim RFID wet inlay can be used to interact with consumers by opening webpages or apps on NFC equipped smartphones.

The Avery Dennison Smartrac Slim Dual Frequency RFID Wet Inlay comes standard with the EM Microelectronic’s EM4425 V12 echo-V IC with 2048 bits of shared user memory that is accessible via UHF and HF frequency. The dual frequency IC enables the use of inexpensive, easily available readers, such as NFC-enabled smartphones, as well as dedicated UHF and HF readers to access the user memory bank.
