TransCore eGo® Plus Mini External RFID Tag
The Transcore eGo Plus Mini External RFID Tag is a beam-powered tag that can be mounted on any flat or slightly curved glass, plastic, or metal surface. This rugged tag is water and weather resistant, and its compact size makes it the ideal solution for applications that require exterior-mounting and easy installation. Using an RFID tag-on-a-chip ASIC with 2048-bit read/write memory, the eGo Plus Mini External Tag provides the capability to read, write, rewrite, or permanently lock individual bytes. The eGo Plus Mini External Tag supports factory-locked programming of fixed data fields. Agency-programmed fixed data fields can be locked by the agency using password protected programming equipment. The eGo Plus Mini External Tag supports Super eGo (SeGo), eGo, and American Trucking Association (ATA) protocols. It is suitable for a wide variety of automatic vehicle identification (AVI) transportation applications, including electronic toll collection, airport/ground transportation management systems, parking access, and security access applications. This tag is available in both 915 and 870 MHz ranges, and is radio frequency-programmable. Security is assured when the eGo Plus Mini External Tag is used with TransCore readers. Advanced security techniques ensure a tag’s authenticity while preventing data corruption and/or alteration. In addition, tag cloning, spoofing, copying, or duplicating is prevented. Optional features include custom laser etching and custom programming for reliability.
