The Honeywell IH45 Handheld RFID Reader, when paired with a compatible Honeywell mobile computer, creates an all-in-one barcode scanning, RFID reading, and mobile computing solution. The IH45 Handheld RFID Reader decreases the amount of manual effort needed to track inventory by enabling organizations to transition away from barcode workflows and towards RFID workflows. When the IH45 Handheld RFID Reader is paired with an imager equipped mobile computer such as the Honeywell CT45, organizations can continue to use existing barcode infrastructure while transitioning to more efficient RFID workflows. RFID tags enable the IH45 Handheld RFID Reader to read fast moving inventory with more efficiency and accuracy than a barcode scanner. The IH45 features a direct USB connection to the Honeywell mobile device as well as tool-less battery change, eliminating the need to remove the mobile computer to swap batteries.
