The M7e-TERA Developer Kit offers as complete solution to design and test new RFID functionality in OEM solutions. This kit provides hardware for ultra high-frequency (UHF) applications such as asset tracking, inventory management, patient safety, and product authentication. The ThingMagic M7e-TERA is a 4-port module that meets or exceeds the performance requirements of the most demanding fixed position multi-antenna reader applications and supports the ability to transmit up to +31.5 dBm. The edge connections for signals, power, and RF allow the module to be soldered directly to a motherboard as a standard component. The on-board connector allows the module to be mated to a motherboard as an add-on option. The M7e-TERA platform uses the same Mercury API as other JADAK ThingMagic products, allowing for easy software integration and customization based on form-fit-function SKUs. This developer kit is the perfect way to make the most of your M7e-TERA reader module.
Note: This product is a reader module – NOT a finished RFID reader – and is meant for OEM and developers to embed into products or to be used in the creation of a new finished reader. If you are interested in an existing finished reader product, check out our line of finished ThingMagic readers.

The ThingMagic M7e-TERA Developer Kit enables you to build a reader with the perfect balance between convenient size, flexibility of use, and raw RF power. The M7e-TERA module has a wide RF output range of 31.5 dBm, an Impinj E710 RAIN RFID reader chip, a high read rate of 800 tags per second, and a tag read range of 12 meters; meanwhile, the developer kit has these features plus it gives you everything you need to connect to a PC and start reading tags. The Mercury API is loaded on your host processor so you can write software to control the module in the DevKit chassis.
