The Thor VM3A computer offers breakthrough features designed to eliminate downtime and maximize capital investment. The Smart Dock feature delivers immediate savings on support and maintenance costs while maximizing efficiency by enabling users to dynamically shift computers as vehicles fail or workloads change. The field-replaceable front panel allows enterprises to minimize investments in spare parts by substituting spare front panels for spare computers, and saves valuable time and maintenance costs by leveraging in-house support staff to service the most common breaking point.
Powered by a robust Qualcomm 660 processor, the Thor VM3A delivers smooth performance for demanding applications in activities such as case picking, truck loading, put-away and replenishment - giving workers real-time access to information anywhere it is needed. With 2x2 MIMO WLAN and an integrated keyboard, your team stays connected and productive throughout the day. The Thor VM3A is upgradable to Android 13, and features extended security update support to maximize return on customer investment and provide a lower overall total cost of ownership (TCO). The device’s advanced enterprise configuration and software support tools also simplify frequently repeated tasks such as unit setup and distribution of security and software updates.
NOTE: The Honeywell Thor VM3A Vehicle-Mounted Mobile Computer is unavailable with UHF RFID technology. A dock and mount must be used in tandem to mount this mobile computer to a vehicle. Contact us for details.
Configuration Options
Readable both indoors and outdoors, the Thor VM3A comes with a resistive or a capacitive touchscreen. The resistive touchscreen registers a touch when the screen is pressed down on and is functional when anything presses on the screen, including a finger, glove, or stylus. The capacitive touchscreen registers a touch when a bare finger or capacitive stylus touches the screen and has support for multi-touch inputs. The resistive touchscreen is intended for harsh, industrial conditions, and the capacitive touchscreen offers a faster, modern user experience in clean environments.
