The Honeywell Granit XP 1990iSR Corded Ultra-Rugged Standard Range Barcode Scanner incorporates Honeywell's 1D and 2D scanning into a rugged housing that can survive 3 m (10 ft) drops. As a member of the Granit family of scanners, the 1990iSR is built to withstand the varied demands of harsh working environments. Damage to a scanner's scan window is a frequent failure point for barcode scanners in industrial environments. Granit scanners are designed with a deeply recessed and scratch resistance window to prevent damage to the scan window. The 1990iSR is rated IP67 and is built to survive 7,000 tumbles from 1 m (3.3 ft) and 50 drops to concrete from 2 m (6.5 ft)–even in temperatures as low as -30°C (-22°F). As a result, operations that deploy Granit scanners can expect to experience minimal device downtime and a lower overall cost of ownership.

Note: The Granit XP 1990iSR Corded Ultra-Rugged Standard Range Scanner is unavailable with UHF RFID technology. This scanner reads 1D and 2D barcodes, but does not have UHF capabilities.
