FEIG MAX.U500i-FCC Integrated Access Control UHF RFID Reader
The FEIG MAX.U500i-FCC Integrated Access Control UHF RFID Reader is the optimal solution for granting RFID tagged vehicles access to employee parking lots, private driveways, and other closed facilities. The MAX.U500i combines a long range UHF RFID reader, integrated antenna, signal light, and access controller into a single device. The MAX.U500i supports EPC Class 1 Gen 2v2 encryption techniques in order to prohibit access of transponders with cloned serial numbers. Use of the myAXXESS Manager software enables user data and authorization information to be transferred to the MAX.U500i over a temporary connection. A compatible desktop reader, such as the FEIG MRU102-USB, is used to load tags into myAXXESS Manager. A temporary connection between the network and MAX.U500i enables the transfer of user data and authorization information. After the data transfer, the MAX.U500i can be run offline, standalone. A "Teach-In Mode" on the MAX.U500i can be used to add UHF RFID transponders to the access list, and a second access lane can be monitored through the use of an external antenna. With an IP67 rating, the MAX.U500i is a durable solution for potentially wet environments.
