Based on the Avery Dennison Smartrac's successful Midas Flagtag UHF RFID product line, this tag combines excellent performance in both the HF and UHF RFID frequency ranges. The dual frequency capabilities of this inlay help fight black and grey markets by enabling consumers to verify product authenticity with NFC equipped smartphones and retailers to verify product returns with UHF RFID readers.

The Avery Dennison Smartrac Midas Flagtag Dual Frequency RFID Paper Tag comes standard with the EM Microelectronic's EM4425 V12 echo-V IC with 2048 bits of shared user memory that is accessible via UHF and HF frequency. The dual frequency IC enables the use of inexpensive, easily available readers, such as NFC-enabled smartphones, as well as dedicated UHF and HF readers to access the user memory bank.
