The Venture Research Tethered handheld is designed specifically to allow for near and far field reads and writes in a single hand-held.  Allowing direct connection to a computer, via its POWER OVER ETHERNET single cable configuration, the hand held is designed for rework stations, applications where a tethered solution is preferred over expensive battery powered portable hand-helds.  An integrated 2 line by 24 character LCD display, 3 indicator lights and a speaker compliment the integrated 1 Watt UHF GEN2 reader.  The dual antennas allow for far field reading or close proximity encoding applications.  All functions of the handheld are available under program control via Telnet. - supplied with a Power over Ethernet injector and 14' of shielded CAT6 cable.
